The Variegated Fiddle Leaf Fig has the same bold, sculptural shape as the classic fiddle leaf fig, with the addition of striking cream, white and green variegation.

Its large, violin-shaped leaves and upright growth make it a beautiful feature plant for a bright room. Each leaf develops its own pattern, ranging from soft cream edging to larger splashes of variegation.

Care Tips

• Light: Place it in very bright, filtered light. Gentle morning sun is beneficial, but avoid intense afternoon sun, particularly during the Australian summer.
• Water: Water thoroughly only when the pot feels dry. Avoid allowing the plant to sit in water and avoid overwatering as this can lead to root rot.
• Consistency: Fiddle leaf figs prefer stable conditions. Avoid repeatedly moving the plant or exposing it to sudden changes in temperature.
• Feeding: Feed with a balanced indoor plant fertiliser during spring and summer. Stop feeding during winter.
• Leaf care: Wipe the broad leaves occasionally to remove dust and help the plant make the most of the available light.
• Pet safety: Fiddle leaf figs are toxic if eaten, and their sap can irritate the skin.

Variegated fiddle leaf figs grow more slowly than the standard green form and require brighter light to maintain healthy growth.
